AHA Governing Committee Monthly Meeting Summary: March 2022

Here is a summary of the March 2022 meeting of your American Homebrewers Association Governing Committee (GC):

• Discussed the upcoming big Brew Day on May 7 and are working to finalize the recipes for the event.
• Update on the selection process to choose the seminar topics that will be presented at Homebrew Con 2022 in Pittsburgh this coming June.
• The Brewers Association (BA) and the AHA are working to set strategic focus areas for the next two years, which will include Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
• The BA mini-grants program has been posted on the AHA website and is open to both BA and AHA members to apply for mini-grants for things like events, podcasts, etc.  https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/news/ba-diversity-equity-and-inclusion-mini-grant-program/
• The Governing Committee is looking to set up a webinar series to present various educational topics to the general AHA membership.
