Apply for the Fall 2022 Cohort of the Brewers Association Mentorship Program
The Brewers Association Mentorship and Professional Development Subcommittee is now accepting applications for the fall 2022 cohort of the Brewers Association Mentorship Program. This will be the program’s fourth cohort and is anticipated to be its largest.
The 12-week virtual program provides mentoring from knowledgeable craft brewing industry leaders in three different tracks. The aspiring professional’s track is for those who have never worked in the industry and would like to enter it professionally. The advancing professional’s track is for those who have worked in the industry and are looking to advance or redirect their careers. The brewery start-up track will appeal to people intent on starting a brewery and who have taken tangible steps toward doing so or breweries that have operated for less than one year.
Former cohorts have included a number of members from the homebrew community looking to go pro. Camille Payne, book lover, homebrewer, and host of Brewzandbooks, appreciated the availability of mentors with so many backgrounds in beer, the chance to gain a diverse set of educational information and professional perspectives, and the opportunity to network. “I have gained more courage to continue in my pursuit to own a brewery.”
Applications for participants will be accepted until July 4, 2022, and the cohort will begin on September 12, 2022.
