AHA Governing Committee Meeting Summary: November 2022

Here is a summary of the November 2022 meeting of your American Homebrewers Association Governing Committee (GC):

  • There will be an upcoming article in Zymurgy magazine with regard to the 2022 Governing Committee election.
  • First Round judging sites for the National Homebrewing Competition are back!  In the next couple of months, there will be information about the regional locations, judging dates, and competition rules.
  • We are working on ideas to improve the Homebrew Con experience in 2023.
  • If someone joined the AHA between November 8 and December 15, donations were made to three selected nonprofit partners The three nonprofits are Beer for Boobs; Soldier Angels-Hops for Heroes, a veteran’s group; and the Michael James Jackson Foundation.
  • The Events and Education subcommittee, Industry working group, and Competition working group are currently working on several projects. More information will be made available once these projects are completed.
